At Bass Coast Skin Doctors, the health and safety of our staff and patients is our priority.
To address the spread of COVID-19 that is occurring globally, we have introduced a range of stringent
safety protocols to minimise the risk of infection more locally.
How we are keeping you safer
As medical professionals governed by the Medical Board, we already implement systematic theatre-
grade infection control and safety protocols.
Additionally, we have have upgraded our safety procedures across all of our rooms to include:
- 100% of our staff (clinical and administrative) are fully vaccinated
- Protocols to optimise air quality by providing Winix hospital grade HEPA (high efficiency particle arrestor) air purifiers in the waiting room and consulting rooms
- Provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) with quantitative mask fit testing for all staff
- Frequent disinfecting of common areas and high-touch surfaces
- Provision of hand sanitiser on arrival and in each consulting room
- Density capacity limits
- Physical spacing of seating in shared areas
- Strict health and wellbeing procedures for all staff, including daily COVID-19 health declarations and QR code sign in
- Compulsory wearing of face masks while attending the clinic (please notify the clinic if you have a medical exemption so that alternate safety considerations can be made)
- Closely following public health order updates.
